Backyard Barn

Behind a neat house in Chisolm Township stands this doomed barn.

Barn Chisolm

The damaged roof allows water onto the beams and floors.  Farm friends tell me that is the beginning of the end because of the rot that sets in.

Haying Time

Chisolm township is just south of Lake Nosbonsing.  A little niche of very good farmland in the middle of the rocks and trees that characterize Northern Ontario.  The North Border of Algonquin Park is on the South edge of the Township.
