Notre Dame Cathedral
The fire that burned Notre Dame produced great sadness in the World.
Such a beautiful place. Awesome in its size.
The day after the fire, this is no more.
Promises to rebuild are being made and doubtless will be honoured. We will not see this beauty again for decades.

Fond Memories
Just about nine years ago my nephew was married. He and his bride grew up in France and so the celebration afforded an opportunity to visit and do some sightseeing.
We visited the family “cottage” on Lac Annecy and had a marvellous day in the alps of Haute-Savoie.
These are awesome places to visit and to live in.
