Frosty Morning

The lake is freezing over.  Lots of fog which created frost in the -20C temperatures of the night.

Hoar Frost

The tops of the trees had heavy coatings and when the wind blew, it snowed frost flakes.

Rocks and Gulls and Lake Nipissing – City Streets Tour

This morning I made two prints of this scene in different sizes.  The photograph was made in mid-June on the shore of Lake Nipissing, in North Bay.

Nipissing Rocks Gulls Clouds

They will be available for sale (along with many other prints and cards) on the City Streets Tour this Saturday at 319 West Peninsula Rd.

The Facebook Page for the Tour has lots of photographs of the items that have been created for you to enjoy.

I hope to see you there.

A Summer Reminder

Standard time combined with November weather emphasizes dull gray uninspiring days.

Time for a reminder of Summer and long sunny days.

Safe Ashore

The wind was blowing on Lake Nipissing yesterday.  This old dory has done its time and is safely serving in another capacity.

Business is not good in Playa Del Carmen for some, unfortunately.
