The lake is freezing over. Lots of fog which created frost in the -20C temperatures of the night.
The tops of the trees had heavy coatings and when the wind blew, it snowed frost flakes.
Now that winter is here, it is hard to remember that only a short time ago this was happening.
It won’t be all that long before it happens again.
New photo-processing program. Experiment.
This morning I made two prints of this scene in different sizes. The photograph was made in mid-June on the shore of Lake Nipissing, in North Bay.
They will be available for sale (along with many other prints and cards) on the City Streets Tour this Saturday at 319 West Peninsula Rd.

It is much more calm today.
The wind was blowing on Lake Nipissing yesterday. This old dory has done its time and is safely serving in another capacity.
Not threatened any longer.
Business is not good in Playa Del Carmen for some, unfortunately.
The razor wire on the balcony speaks subtly of potential security issues.
