Below the dam at South River.
Delicate and smooth vs rough and hard.
Sunset Cove on the South Shore of Lake Nipissing is a beautiful place.
Classic Northern Ontario – rocks, pines, water.

A Mid Winter reminder of a part of the North that is currently frozen under 3 feet of snow.
I will go skiing tomorrow but this will be in the back of my mind.
This morning I made two prints of this scene in different sizes. The photograph was made in mid-June on the shore of Lake Nipissing, in North Bay.
They will be available for sale (along with many other prints and cards) on the City Streets Tour this Saturday at 319 West Peninsula Rd.
The Facebook Page for the Tour has lots of photographs of the items that have been created for you to enjoy.
I hope to see you there.
