Looking south on Trout Lake in the afternoon.
The ice has not quite covered the lake and is definitely not safe.

“Please leave me alone and let me lie here in the sun.”, is the message.
Just arrived back yesterday from a road trip to the West Coast of Canada with stops at many places in between. This scene greeted me when I went down to the lake to see what had changed.
Really special homecoming welcome!
