With three feet of snow in the bush, it’s hard to think that days like this are in the near future.

It’s hard not to fall in love with this place.
The creeks are running.
A couple of days of above zero temps with lots of sunshine have the snow melting.
For Pam, who is tired of winter and wants something green.
And Penny, too.
Winter weather is supposed to begin moderating near the end of February and early March, but there is no sign that this is happening this year. Today’s high was -16C. Tonight’s low is forecast at -30C.
To keep hope alive, I’m publishing a photograph I made last summer just to help me stay warm.
