Lake Superior is very cold in both summer and winter.

The lake is freezing over. Lots of fog which created frost in the -20C temperatures of the night.
The tops of the trees had heavy coatings and when the wind blew, it snowed frost flakes.

I made this photograph about a year ago around Christmas.
I thought it was stronger as a monochrome treatment with a bit of cyan toning to make it look a bit cooler.
The white streaks are snowflakes in the air.
