The colours of late August foretell the coming of Fall.
It’s June and flowers are busting out all over.
…will the pin cherry trees blossom.
We have to get through winter first.
Growing by the roadside in Chisolm Township.
It’s wildflower time in my part of the world.
It’s -20 outside this morning. Summer seems very far away.
Have faith. This will come to pass soon!
Late June and early July are colourful times around here.
Ditches become gardens of subtle beauty.
Little white stars by the road.
Working hard in the wildflowers.
I think daisies are elegant in their simplicity.
Time for another Summer Reminder:
I hope this makes you feel a bit warmer.
It does for me!
I find brown eyed susans to be one of the more attractive wildflowers that grow in our part of the world.
Massed or individually,
…they are pretty neat.
They also “play well with others”…
A walk in the field behind the cottage.
The wildflowers are blooming.
They make June such a great month!
