Right now, everyone is waiting impatiently for spring.
One forgets that it was only four short months ago that the last of the flowers were waiting for winter.
It seems that it has taken forever for the leaves to start their colour change locally.
And then all of a sudden they changed with a “whoosh”!
Now that the ground is covered in white it’s hard to remember what it looked like two months ago.
Mid-November and the shrubbery is taking on some intense colours.
