Very Early Spring
The snow is getting knocked down by the warm, wet weather of the last couple of days.
Fog today made the bush really beautiful.

Oak Leaf
The snow banks by the road slowly reveal items of nature that have been hidden for the past few months.
This oak leaf sinks daily into its little bed of snow until it will eventually reach the ground.

The Water is Running
It’s just a little bit of melting but this sight strengthens the belief that spring will come when the little rivulets of water cut into the ice and create their own stream beds.

The creeks are running.
A couple of days of above zero temps with lots of sunshine have the snow melting.

Spring Puddle
In spring, water forms puddles. We’ve not seen this very often in the past four months and so it is new and different to those like me with very short memories.
This one was in my driveway. The bush across the road is reflected in it.

Moffat’s Path Spring Morning
About a week ago it rained all night and got warm in the morning. Very humid but cold near the ground.
The fog made it interesting.
This was made using three exposures (-1,0,+1) and then combining them using the HDR function in CS5 Photoshop.
