Near the beginning of the Lavase Portages the path runs through a stand of birch trees.
On a sunny June afternoon it’s a pretty neat place to be.

Fog today made the bush really beautiful.
The ground will begin to peek through soon.
Every year at this time, the rich promise of a new beginning is present in the bush.
There is a little grove of birch trees at the corner of Tower Drive and Airport Road that often yields some interesting photographs.
This morning was one of those times.
