Slow Learners?

Two weeks ago I posted THIS.  Last week I could have taken another similar photograph and posted it.

Yesterday the sight that greeted me was:

We have the fattest crows and ravens in the district now.  How many times before a proper container is used?

In fairness, the mess was cleaned up when I passed today.

Collector

There is a large collection of items stored on this property.  I suspect the homeowner would entertain an offer for any of them.  (Except the fire hydrant which is owned by the city.)

This may be active recycling at its best?

Flatiron Building

North Bay has its own “Flatiron Building”.

Toronto has one.  It’s a bit more imposing but we are proud of ours too.

Sunny House

This neat compact house is in Callander, Ontario, on the main street.

Callander is a neat place, quiet and yet close to “The Big Smoke” (North Bay).

It is famous as the birthplace of the Dionne Quints, but that excitement is long past.

Mothballed

Eventually this train will be displayed in a more accommodating setting, but for now it is mothballed on a siding.

Removal of the graffiti and repainting will no doubt occur.

Ageing

Old Age is a beautiful thing.

This rose is past its “best before” date but it still looks great!

Not perfect anymore but there is still beauty in it.

Garbage Day

In our part of the world it is unwise to put your garbage out the night before packed in garbage bags.

The crows and the dogs and the bears just love it!

Our garbage guys are really good, but their job is to pick up the garbage.  It is unreasonable to expect them to clean up the garbage.

A solid container (a “garbage can”) is the smart choice.
