This little series of waterfalls is on a small creek that flows down the escarpment below the old Monastery in North Bay. Recent rains have provided just enough water to make a pleasant autumn scene. The trees have lost most of their leaves and the forest floor is accumulating this year’s protective covering.
Soon the blanket colour will change to white.

The little stream that flows from the pond at Canadore College runs through a valley beside the Canadore Trail System.

I visited Eau Claire Gorge yesterday and paused on the bridge which crosses the Amable du Fond River.
The heron was not disturbed by my presence or by the occasional car crossing.
It was just enjoying the fall colours, I guess.

My daughter and her family have a lovely “waterfront” property near Rochester, NY. Last week I spent some time “fishing” for photographs on her waterfront.
