It’s warm and the fog is caused by the remnants of the ice in the lake.
Perhaps the ice will be gone today.

The fall colours are showing more and more as the days go by. Yesterday morning on One Mile Bay they were evident.

About a week ago it rained all night and got warm in the morning. Very humid but cold near the ground.
The fog made it interesting.
This was made using three exposures (-1,0,+1) and then combining them using the HDR function in CS5 Photoshop.

We’re off to a wet start for 2011!
Warm temperatures and rain for the past 24 hours have knocked the heck out of the snow and flooded the ice on the lake. It may be good skating when it freezes later tonight.
Looking to the south across our lake shows the extent of the despair.
Or the possibilities for tomorrow…
