Fading Away

Saint Joseph’s Hospital served the City of North Bay for many years.  It and Civic Hospital were combined into a new modern facility on the edge of town.  Both buildings, now empty, await demolition.

Shortly, the structure will exist only in memories, along with the good work that was done there.

Last of the Leaves

When all of the leaves have left the trees, there are still a few close to the ground on small bushes.

Semi-Detached

One of four identical houses built side by side in 1914 according to a neighbour.

Still in pretty good shape after 98 years.

Early Snow

Early snow in November doesn’t stay around very long as a rule.

It serves as a reminder (painful for some, exciting for others) of what’s to come.
