Birch Grove II

I revisited the little birch grove yesterday in better light.

Autumn is just about over.

Back to Nature

The light improved yesterday for about an hour and this was one result.

Then the light went dull again.

Brick & Stucco

The wall between the last two postings is itself quite interesting.  The image is composed almost entirely of rectangles.  Hardly a curve in sight.

Different processing “tricks” have been used for each of the three shots of the old Belmont Hotel building.  The colour enhancement necessary to give some life to the “out of camera” photos was achieved in three slightly different ways.  It’s fun to experiment.  (Thanks to Silverpixel for an idea that I modified a bit to give the colour enhancement for this image.)
