The fire that burned Notre Dame produced great sadness in the World.
Such a beautiful place. Awesome in its size.
The day after the fire, this is no more.
Promises to rebuild are being made and doubtless will be honoured. We will not see this beauty again for decades.
But it will happen.

There was a university arts professor in the States that photographed the cathedral with a Leica Scan Station..whatever. He established a billion ‘cloud points’ to create a 3D image of the building. He died of brain cancer at the age of 49 about 3 or 4 years ago. Supposedly his family has these scans and they will be able to rebuild true to the existing design with modern materials. It seems money is no problem, 2 French billionaires have stepped up to offer 260 M and 113 M each.
It looks like money won’t be a major problem It will take more time than Macron is claiming.
Even more time if we let North Bay city council handle it, with their mulitude of reports and committees.
