Spring Puddle
In spring, water forms puddles. We’ve not seen this very often in the past four months and so it is new and different to those like me with very short memories.
This one was in my driveway. The bush across the road is reflected in it.

Fishin’
Yesterday afternoon on Callander Bay.
As another fellow said, “The fishin’ is great, the catchin’ is sucking!”
Another take on, “There’s Good Fishing and there’s Great Fishing. Great Fishing is when you catch something!”

Winter Creek
Water is always flowing under the snow.
This little creek is on North Shore Drive near the Nordic Ski Trails. It works its way down to Four Mile Bay after it crosses under the road.

Golfer’s Paradise
Passing by the end of One Mile Bay last week before the ice went out, I saw little white dots on the ice. I thought it might be some pre-iceout phenomenon.
Turned out to be golf balls:
Someone getting a bit of early season practice. Or possibly smacking balls regularly all winter?
Must have a contract with Titleist to supply balls. Perhaps a frustrated Masters competitor?
Look out Bubba!
