At 115 Km/h there is not much time to look at them but this is what many missed yesterday afternoon on the way back up from Callander.

Splash
In early fall the green of the vegetation gets punctuated by incongruous bits of colour.
This splash is yellow (with a bit of red thrown in).

These leaves changed colour early this fall to very deep dark red, almost purple.
