Genesee River Gorge
At Letchworth State Park, NY, the Genesee River carves it’s way through the same limestone layers as Niagara Falls, but further east.
Pictured here are the gorge and Middle Falls.
The Upper Falls are in the background just in front of the railway bridge.

Mount Hope
Mount Hope Cemetery is in Rochester New York. It has been accepting residents since 1838. Currently its population is over 350 000.
One of the older stones I found is that marking the grave of Thomas Hartwell.

Kaibuskong Bay
Lake Nosbonsing ends in Bonfield and flows into the Kaibuskong River to the right.
Some years ago this bay was used to boom white pine logs from Lake Nipissing. The logs were then floated from here to Montreal via the Mattawa and Ottawa rivers.
These days it’s a beautiful place to be.
