Mount Hope Cemetery
Mount Hope Cemetery in Rochester, New York, is a truly interesting place. More than a flat piece of ground, it has hills and valleys, nooks and crannies, woodlands and open areas, all contributing to a calm feeling of peace.
The older portions have a very Victorian feel about them. It has been open since 1837 or so and currently has about 350 000 residents.
