Waiting to Rebuild
It has been eleven months since a devastating fire destroyed Lefebvre’s and Vested Interest.
The heavily damaged building awaits the start of the rebuilding operation.
I made posts at the time of the tragedy. They are HERE and HERE .
When catastrophe occurs we tend to forget about the effects as time passes. The building shell serves as a constant reminder. I hope that positive things can begin to happen soon for those most directly affected.

Memory
I made this shot last week. This past weekend turned warm and it is raining this morning. The snow is gone.
Now, only this memory exists.
But then thats what photographs are, aren’t they?

Witty Artisans
I spent yesterday at the Witty Artisans Craft Show at The Portage.
I had a great time chatting with old friends and new friends who passed by and looked at my work and the work of others at the show.
For such a gray rainy day, the turnout was phenomenal. Thanks to all who came by.

Farmhouse
This neat, comfortable building has a log house at its core.
The presence of the satellite dish gives a bit of a contradiction to the traditional feeling produced by the processing of the photograph. In response to a thoughtful comment, here is an edited version which has the more classical look implied by the processing.
A matter of personal preference, I suppose.
