We’re off to a wet start for 2011!
Warm temperatures and rain for the past 24 hours have knocked the heck out of the snow and flooded the ice on the lake. It may be good skating when it freezes later tonight.
Looking to the south across our lake shows the extent of the despair.
Or the possibilities for tomorrow…

The ice is getting more and more solid.
Soon we will see snowmobile tracks. When that happens it will be safe to walk out some distance.
