Emerging from Winter
The snow is getting knocked down by the sun and the rock underneath can begin to breathe again.

The Water is Running
It’s just a little bit of melting but this sight strengthens the belief that spring will come when the little rivulets of water cut into the ice and create their own stream beds.

Waiting for the Others
Raking the lawn the other day made me notice the only two crocus (crocuses? crocae?) that have survived a planting made some years ago.
I’m still waiting for other flowers to break out.
