Flowers You Don’t Notice

Monarch Butterflies know about these as they are part of the process that makes new food for the survival of that butterfly species.

Milkweed Flowers

Milkweed flowers close up are delicately pretty.

So are Monarch Butterflies. Haven’t seen one yet this Summer.

There is still hope, I guess.

And the plant is milkweed, which is a necessary part of the life cycle of the Monarch Butterfly.

Flowers and Foundations

But for the persistent efforts of ordinary citizens in North Bay these flowers would be replaced with the foundations of houses.
