Sweetman’s Garden has lots of birds to photograph on most days.
This day was unusual as only a solitary grackle was present when I visited.
But the light was so good that it all worked out just fine.

Armor
Nature and protection.
This beetle showed up on our clothesline on a very windy day and held on to a towel for a while. It was big black and harmless, even though the fearsome looking armour it wore appeared to make it ready for battle or a part in a Super Hero movie.
