In the Woods the trails wander
Among the trees and ponds, and so,
When trekking and the day is fair
The hard part is to know just where
To pause and sense the mood
That best expresses how one feels.
Around the bend one might fetch up
A memory,
A feeling.
Sad, happy, excited, nostalgic,
Put there in the mind
By past experience enjoyed,
Or missed, only to surface and make itself known.
Finally.

One Mile Bay on Trout Lake is very near where I live.
I pass the end of it each time I want to go to town, and it always looks a little different each time.
