Snow Sculpture

Mother Nature is a master snow sculptor.

This is a snowdrift formed by the wind off One Mile Bay.

Leaves can resemble angels.

Leaves indeed are angels.

They provide the necessities of life.

Abstract

Photographer Andre Gallant makes what he calls “Dreamscapes”.

This is an attempt at what he calls a “mirror dreamscape”.

I’m not sure that it’s all that successful.  Perhaps it works better for a soft light photograph.

Rusty III

As promised , additional fun with a rusty wall on an old building:

There were hundreds more possibilities.

Just colour and pattern and texture.

Rusty

I took a little trip for the past two weeks or so and made a large bunch of photographs.  I’ll post some of them here in the coming days.

This one could be anywhere, but it’s near the Erie Canal in Pittsford, NY.

The siding is on a large two storey building that was once used as a factory/warehouse near the Canal.  It is empty and derelict these days.

We spent some time in the area with our daughter and our grandkids and enjoyed watching them grow.
