New people appear along our road every year about this time. Some stay for the winter, some disappear after Halloween.
This young lady lives just up the road.

Now that the leaves are gone, having been blown off in the latest windstorm, I felt that I should take another look at summer before we forget what it was like.
Just cries for a red canoe, doesn’t it?

Once again the morning is dull and gray.
A photo from summer past may help to lighten the depression:
It’s fun remembering the sunshine and the warmth!

Duchesnay Falls is one of the most photographed places in my town. I have visited many times but have always found that I have difficulty photographing it. What I produce is usually disappointing to me in expressing the experience. (The fault is mine, not the Falls.)

A change in the processing in Photoshop has made the difference in how the photograph appears.

Looking downward, as well as upwards can reveal images that add to the experience of autumn.

Near our house is Moffat’s Path. I have many photographs of this place and one of my favourites is this little spot, which I have photographed many times in different conditions and seasons. This is the way it looked yesterday morning.
Very tranquil and quiet. Good for the soul.
