Toronto People
People I saw in Toronto on a recent visit.
I took on the role of tourist for a couple of days. Even though I have been in the town many times over the years, other duties got in the way of just enjoying what Canada’s largest city has to offer. It was a neat way to spend this visit and of course induge the photography bug.
The highlight was seeing the photography of Sebastiao Salgado at the ROM. The show is Genesis , it is spectacular and my advice is GO SEE IT.

AGO
My first visit to the Art Gallery of Ontario. Embarrasing to admit, after growing up an hour away and visiting Toronto as many times as I have over the years.
What a marvellous place! The original building and the recent addition by Frank Gehry are themselves works of art.

The Chief Returns
The Chief is back and working hard.
The Chief is a catamaran which is a unique design for cruise boat on a “small” lake.
The people who took the cruise last Sunday really enjoyed it. So they said when interviewed.

The Walkway Canyon
The trail from the Parking Garage passes through the Walkway Canyon.
The journey ends at Main Street in colourful surroundings.

Nipissing Caretaker
The crown of the sculpture which acts as the gnomon of the sundial on the Waterfront.
It is always looking out on Lake Nipissing in good weather and bad.
I think of it as an observer of, or caretaker for the Lake.
