I like your explanation of the photograph.
I had a gallery exhibition of prints 3 yrs. ago at WKP Gallery, and the most common question was “Why did you photograph that?’ or ‘What is that?’
I just found that when we have a camera in our hands that the scenery just jumps out at you and you just have to photograph it.
It is what we see and others don’t. And it opens the viewers eyes to what is out there. You’ve done that.

I find when I am asked what I like to photograph, the answer I give is, “Whatever interests me.” I should add that it has to excite me and or have exciting possibilities. One of the great things about being retired is that I get to stop and take a look at stuff if/whenever I feel like it, a tremendous gift of having no schedule.
