Recently I was able to spend a sunny afternoon roaming around North Waterloo County.
Farms and green and brown fields predominate. Rolling hills characterize the landscape. The land is often gently tilted.
Calming to the eye and soul.

It’s winter again this morning. A bit of a hiccup in the Spring Process. It feels like this photograph is appropriate to the mood.

Last year Trout Lake was ice-free on May 1.
About a month of winter to go if we’re lucky!
