Art Deco?

Two ground floor windows in the old Belmont Hotel building are octagonal.

Art Deco Windows

Would this qualify as an example of Art Deco architecture?

Brick & Stucco

The wall between the last two postings is itself quite interesting.  The image is composed almost entirely of rectangles.  Hardly a curve in sight.

Different processing “tricks” have been used for each of the three shots of the old Belmont Hotel building.  The colour enhancement necessary to give some life to the “out of camera” photos was achieved in three slightly different ways.  It’s fun to experiment.  (Thanks to Silverpixel for an idea that I modified a bit to give the colour enhancement for this image.)
