Wave Walk

The pavement past the tunnel connecting the North Bay Waterfront with Discovery North Bay  and the Downtown Area has a uniquely Lake Nipissing shoreline look.

I am reminded of waves breaking on a beach and ripples in the sand that invariably form.

Are you?

Laurier Woods

Winter has bleached the bullrushes to brown.

Laurier Woods exists because forward thinking people have banded together to preserve this oasis in the middle of the city.  Small improvements such as this walkway make it accessable to everyone.

Back Alley

One of the few alleyways in our town.  It is a well travelled place to get from the parking garage to the Main Street.  Many people walk it regularly but don’t seem to notice the interesting bits of art that they pass.

We take so much for granted in our environment that we have learned not to notice.
