North Bay Harbour

The development of the North Bay Waterfront required the construction of a sheltered harbour for small craft.  Rock that had been excavated when the NORAD underground site was built was moved from near Trout lake to the waterfront and dumped into Lake Nipissing to form the breakwall in the photograph.

The small boat marina has spaces for 250 craft.

Sunbeam Bungalows

On the sandy shore of Callander Bay is the Sunbeam Bungalows marina.  The bungalows are across the road from here in a grove of red pine trees.

The unique logo attracted my attention.

It’s always a sunny day when you vacation here.
