It’s really all about habitat.
And competition among species.
Our chainsaws will kill a tree faster than a cormorant, but the tree is just as dead.

Yesterday the sight that greeted me was:
We have the fattest crows and ravens in the district now. How many times before a proper container is used?
In fairness, the mess was cleaned up when I passed today.
