This is the last year The Canadian Cancer Society will sell live daffodils to raise funds and awareness.
Next year the daffodils will be flat plastic pin-on fakes. It won’t be the same.

That seems so silly… plastic is just not the same! I always LOVE having fresh flowers on my table, if I can’t have them or see them in my garden yet.
This is the first time I hear about the cancer society using plastic flowers, what is the reasoning behind it? It is not like the flowers don’t reproduce again….
Best go buy some daffodils and while you’re there you can have that conversation with the representative.
